Stephen Lynch is a technology executive & product leader with two decades of experience building & scaling AI-driven platforms used by the world’s most sophisticated organizations.
Most recently, Stephen served as General Manager & Executive Vice President of Enterprise at AlphaSense, where he built & led the company’s Enterprise Intelligence business. Under his leadership, the business scaled from early traction into one of the company’s fastest-growing segments – serving global financial institutions, corporations & investment firms that rely on AI to analyze & operationalize complex information at scale. Today, AlphaSense is trusted by more than 6,000 organizations worldwide, including 88% of the S&P 100, 80% of the world’s largest banks & all 20 of the largest global pharmaceutical companies.
Prior to leading the Enterprise business, Stephen served as EVP of Product Development, where he oversaw AlphaSense’s global product, design & engineering organizations through multiple funding rounds, major platform expansions & strategic acquisitions. During this period, he helped scale AlphaSense from a high-potential startup into a category leader in AI-powered market intelligence – translating advances in machine learning & natural language processing into products that deliver measurable commercial outcomes for customers.
Earlier in his career, Stephen held senior product & design leadership roles at Dealogic & Ride.com – & served as a founder at both The Hitch & Panelfly. Across these roles – he built & scaled global product organizations spanning US, Canada, Colombia, London, Finland, Hungary & India – consistently combining deep user insight, strong design principles & disciplined execution to bring complex technology platforms to market.
Stephen began his career as a frontend developer, giving him a hands-on technical foundation that continues to shape his leadership approach today. He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) from Syracuse University, a background that informs his design-led philosophy for building intelligent, user-centered software platforms.
Carlton Baab is Algolia’s Chief Financial Officer and Chief Information Officer. He plays a key role in managing the financial strategy, global finance organization, procurement, and mergers/ acquisitions and integrations. He also ensures that Algolia has the right systems in place to execute its business strategy.Prior to joining Algolia, Baab shepherded Lithium, CKS Group and Alfresco through periods of explosive growth in revenue and customer acquisition as well as managed the IPO of CKS Group, with Goldman Sachs as the lead underwriter. A Harvard Business School and University of Southern California graduate, Baab brings significant M&A experience having managed the sale of five companies and seven acquisitions.

CTO & Chief ArchitectXavier boasts a decade of experience in engineering software projects, having led numerous initiatives in this domain. He became an integral part of Algolia's journey from its early days when the team comprised only four members. As the most seasoned software engineer, Xavier has played a pivotal role in the continuous evolution of Algolia's Search platform. In addition to his contributions at Algolia, he serves as a trainer at Pollen, where he indulges his passion for imparting knowledge and equipping individuals with the essential skills required for the challenges of the modern economy. Xavier holds a BSc in Computer Science and engaged in various projects during his studies at EPITA (École Pour l'Informatique et les Techniques Avancées).

Chief Revenue OfficerPrior to Algolia, Steven was President of Starburst where he owned worldwide go-to-market across sales, marketing, professional services, channels, partnerships, support and revenue operations. During his tenure Starburst crossed $100M in ARR with 40% year-over-year ARR growth, 130% net dollar retention and 70% growth in EMEA, and signed enterprise AI deals of $65M, $33M, $22M and $15M. He was previously President of BigCommerce and President of Delphix, where he grew ARR from $130M to $200M with no external funding ahead of the company’s acquisition by Perforce. Earlier he led worldwide revenue at PagerDuty from Series B through its 2019 IPO, and worldwide sales at Demandware through Salesforce’s $2.8B acquisition.
Adanech is our General Counsel/Registered In-House Counsel in CA. Adanech leverages her vast experience in negotiating complex commercial transactions, securities laws compliance, corporate governance, international expansion, protection of IP rights and HR matters to lead Algolia’s legal and compliance operations. Before Algolia, Adanech served as the Assistant General Counsel of Fastly, Inc./Registered In-House Counsel in CA and, before that, as General Counsel of Response Genetics, Inc. (RGDX). Before going in-house, Adanech represented corporate and commercial clients through her affiliation with Berger Legal LLC and as a corporate and financial services associate at Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP. Adanech holds a J.D. from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law. She is a member of the New York State Bar and registered as in-house counsel in California.

Previously, she held the position of VP of People & Workplace Operations at EZ Texting, where she spearheaded the company's evolution into a fully remote organization, transitioning its function from operational to strategic. Rachel brings extensive experience from her tenure as Senior People Business Partner at Dropbox and Evernote, as well as from various leadership positions within the education sector.
As the Chief Ecosystem Officer of Algolia, Piyush oversees alliances with leading software and services companies to drive transformational digital experiences for customers. He has years of experience and broad market perspective, previously serving as global head of SapientNitro’s CMS business as well as head of global Adobe Practice for CapGemini, where he drove triple-digit growth. He also managed global alliances for OpenText and assisted with expansion into North America for French DXP company Jahia.

Chief Marketing OfficerServantez joins from Genesys, where as SVP of Product Marketing she ran global go-to-market across product marketing, content, analyst relations and customer marketing for the AI-powered experience orchestration platform. Before Genesys she spent nearly eight years at BigCommerce, ultimately as SVP of Marketing and interim CMO, leading an 80-person Americas organization and a go-to-market overhaul that delivered a 30% year-over-year increase in mid-market revenue, notably the highest growth rate in the company, and a 30% lift in marketing-sourced pipeline across mid-market and enterprise. Earlier, across more than a decade at Rackspace, she led go-to-market for the managed public cloud portfolio spanning AWS, Azure, Google Cloud and Alibaba Cloud, and took its $120M Cloud Office business into a new market with 10x revenue growth in the first six months of the Office 365 launch.

He oversees customer success, professional services, and cross-functional initiatives that drive adoption, retention, and long-term growth.
With over 30 years of experience in SaaS and enterprise software, Metin has built and scaled global, customer-facing organizations. He spent more than 14 years at OpenText in senior leadership roles, strengthening enterprise partnerships and delivering complex software initiatives. Most recently, he served over six years at Capgemini as Digital Experience Practice Lead, leading large-scale transformation programs and helping organizations deliver modern, customer-centric digital and ecommerce solutions.
Metin is passionate about empowering customers, accelerating product adoption, and building high-performing teams grounded in collaboration, operational excellence, and customer empathy.
Tom is Vice President of Information Security at Algolia, where he leads the company’s global security strategy, focused on enabling product innovation and building customer trust at scale.
With over 25 years of experience across technology and cybersecurity, Tom brings a pragmatic, business-aligned approach to security - embedding it into engineering and operations to support fast, confident decision-making.
Prior to Algolia, Tom served as Global Chief Information Security Officer at Unit4, where he established and scaled the company’s global security programme, achieving ISO 27001, SOC 1/2, and C5 compliance, and supporting enterprise growth through robust, customer-aligned security frameworks.
Tom holds an Executive MBA from Warwick Business School and multiple industry certifications, including CISSP, CISM, and CISA.
